And While I'm Talking About Baby Stuff...

By mel - Posted on 08 January 2009

Moving on from the riveting baby diaper review let's talk about Gerber baby clothes. You'd think Gerber would know a thing or two about baby clothes. I'm saying "nope" to that. Maddie outgrows every onesie and sleeper made by Gerber weeks before her other baby clothes of the same size.

Thumbs Down: Thumbs DownThumbs Down: Thumbs DownI recently moved Maddie to the 3-6 month clothes which was very exciting for me. Maddie is 4 months old but she should be small for her age since she was 8 weeks early. At the doctors office a month ago Maddie measured at the bottom of the growth chart for her age which was a shock to my doctor who said Maddie is not expected to even be on the chart until she's much older.

Back to Gerber and their size malfunction. Last night I was putting one of the new 3-6 month sleepers on Maddie. I had to fight to get her legs in. What gives Gerber? It went in the goodwill pile this morning. I recommend against buying Gerber clothing regardless of the cute factor!

Thumbs down to Gerber clothes.

I know how you are feeling, I had the same issues with my kids and I don't want my grandchild going through this as well. For this reason you need to visit www.clarsbabybaskets.com if you have a baby shower coming up. The clothes are a better fit.

I had the EXACT same issue w/ Gerber clothes when the 9yo was little!! She wasn't a premie, but for months she was on the small side. Gerber clothes STILL never fit her. They really are tiny.
